The campaign was spread through a mix of digital channels, including social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest) and online videos, such as YouTube. Additionally, the message was amplified with contextual ads and display banners on various websites. In collaboration with influencers Sofie Dumont and Loïc Van Impe, the campaign reached a wider audience, as they used their own platforms to highlight the benefits of local consumption.
Choose wisely, buy locally
Conscious consumption starts with a simple question: where does my food come from? OVAL partnered with FPS Economy to raise awareness about the importance of consuming locally. With the "Use Your Common Sense" campaign, we encourage Belgians to choose local products by simply reading the label. This small but powerful step not only supports the local economy but also has a positive impact on the climate and our health. Through a visual style linking consumers to "common sense," we spread the message via a strong digital campaign, supported by partners and ambassadors.

"Leave that apple from New Zealand and go for a Jonagold from our farmers. It’s healthy, sustainable, and cost-effective. The slogan sums it up well: “Use Your Common Sense.”
